Last week, we invited four upperclassmen to a Q&A panel in KCECH to discuss their experiences with finding internships and different positions as an undergraduate student.
We lured participants in with free Thai food and consequently many underclassmen showed up ready to listen to the imparted wisdom of their upperclassmen peers! With topics of questions ranging from the application process to the actual experiences in the internships, students were interested to hear about all the different aspects that come into finding an internship in the field and firsthand experiencing the real life application of their undergraduate degree. Though informative, the conversations during dinner were light-hearted and genuine, as students also discussed the stresses of pursing such a degree at Penn and shared advice on how to cope with the intensity of the curriculum.
