Recently WiCS hosted a web development workshop where participants learned how to use HTML and CSS. It was led by Sally, who did a great job explaining the basics of HTML and CSS and showing us examples of what we could do with our skills. We made our first websites, and we then learned how to upload them to GitHub so that we could access them through the Internet. Many students made their own personal websites, and we all had a lot of fun personalizing the designs of the websites and making them our own. We also enjoyed brunch from Sabrina’s and had a good time getting to know each other!
